Meet the blogger behind Live. Love. Child Life

Hello everyone! My name is Allison and I'm a brand newly Certified Child Life Specialist! I am currently a graduate student at Texas Woman's University finishing up my master's in child life. I completed my undergrad at Louisiana Tech where I earned a bachelor's degree in Family and Child Studies with a Child Life concentration (Go Dawgs!). In January 2019, I completed my clinical internship in San Antonio, Texas! I am so excited to continue learning about child life and  networking with others along the way!

I wanted to start this blog after meeting so many incredible student and CCLS bloggers and Instagrammers online. I wanted to have a space to share my own experiences and journey with everyone too. The world of child life can be so hard to walk through. I think it is so important that we can connect and share our journeys with one another, especially in a world that relies so heavily on social media.
